Alton Smith has joined Sundyne as regional sales manager for North and Latin America, specializing in the chemical and industrial (C&I) markets.

In his new function, Smith will strengthen buyer facing initiatives and work with Sundyne’s inner groups to expand throughout the C&I space.
Smith comes to Sundyne with greater than 30 years of experience in promoting extremely engineered gear and service options to the downstream and midstream sectors. He has labored extensively with EPCs, OEMs and finish users within the renewable energy, oil & fuel, petrochemical, chemical and energy generation markets.
Prior to Sundyne, Smith served as vice president of sales for Fluid Sealing International, the place he developed strategies to strengthen & develop distributor gross sales, whereas additionally overseeing coaching and purposes help. He beforehand served as a regional gross sales manager for EKATO Systems. Smith started his career at Flowserve Corp’s Seal Division and has also worked with midstream oil & gas OEMs at EagleBurgmann and John Crane Inc.
