pressure gauge has agreed to acquire National Vacuum Equipment Inc, a US manufacturer of business vacuum pumps and packages for mobile use on tanker vehicles.
Headquartered in Traverse City, Michigan, National Vacuum Equipment employs around one hundred individuals.
“The acquisition will add to our vacuum solutions portfolio, permitting us to enter the presently untapped mobile vacuum market,’’ said Geert Follens, Atlas Copco‘s Business Area President Vacuum Technique.
When the acquisition closes, National Vacuum will become a half of the Industrial Vacuum Division, within Atlas Copco’s Vacuum Technique business area.
