Who is Salim Haffar?
I am a citizen of Morocco and France. In 2010, I graduated from the University of Lyon, Department of International Trade. We have been working for many years at EuroTrans, the worldwide umbrella group of the facility transmission industry. For the last 1 year, I have been the Chairman of the Board of EuroTrans. However, I proceed to symbolize Turkey in numerous institutions and international associations.

What is EuroTrans? Could you inform us about its importance within the sector and its work?

You have an energetic position within the trade on a worldwide scale. Can you consider the scenario of the power transmission sector in Turkey?
In addition to working in the power transmission sector for a couple of years, I can say that our business has a very dynamic construction in Turkey, as each the President of EuroTrans and a person who takes an lively role in the Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (MIB). However, despite this dynamic construction, I assume that we’ve an extended method to go so as to reach a competitive position on the planet as a sector.
As İ-Mak Gearbox, we’re working for the development of the sector in Turkey with the duties we have taken in each EuroTrans and MIB. As a result of our visits abroad, we see that the trade has developed, but there are deficiencies in standards and unity. As İ-MAK, we are carrying out studies that will result in these.
With the order provided by numerous organizations everywhere in the world, sector stakeholders create certain quality standards and added worth. There are many alternative leagues for corporations working in the power transmission sector in Turkey. As the business, we want to come together to set requirements and produce larger high quality and efficiency-oriented merchandise.
