Hayward Tyler Inc and its sister firm Energy Steel have been awarded multi-million dollar contracts to support the ITER challenge in France.

Hayward Tyler’s contract covers variable drive booster pumps whereas Energy Steel will provide sixty two solenoid valve and cubicle packages.
The ITER challenge is a joint international analysis and improvement challenge to demonstrate the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion power. The demonstration facility is underneath building in St-Paul-lez-Durance in France, and would be the largest fusion experimental reactor on the planet.

Hayward Tyler and Energy Steel are each part of the Engineered Pumps and Motors Division of Avingtrans plc.
