Fluid Components International’s dual alarm FLT93 Series circulate switch provides an early warning alert to the potential of dry running situations, cavitation and different pump issues that may lead to emergency shutdowns and expensive maintenance.

FCI’s FLT93 Series circulate swap reliably displays the flow and temperature of liquids, gases, and slurries. It is designed for pump wet/dry detection, where sudden, sudden reductions in media move charges can depart pumps susceptible to over-heating situations that shutdown process traces and require troubleshooting and fixing. The SIL2 rated instrument is intended for heavy-duty, potentially hazardous course of trade environments and comes with a comprehensive list of global security approvals.
It has a no moving parts design and presents a sturdy scheme for pump protection with its dual alarm capability. With Alarm 1, the swap detects a low circulate state of affairs anywhere between 0.01 and 3 ft per second FPS (0.003–0.9 m per second MPS). This low flow alarm is a pre-warning signal for the control system or operator who can then resolve to maintain the pump working or to close it down.
If เกวัดแรงดัน happens because the feed line to the pump is working dry, this would be an emergency signal to close down the pump instantly because the bearings now see fuel instead of a liquid as a warmth transfer media. In such conditions, the temperature of the bearings might rise very fast. Using a flow swap prevents permanent damage to the pump’s bearings.
