Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the National Standards Body of India, has recognised EKKI Water Technology Group’s Deccan Pumps Pvt Ltd for its ‘dedication to quality and wonderful association with BIS for greater than 25 years’.
The household business was founded in 1981 by P Arumugam alongside along with his uncle KK Veluchamy and good friend MS Sundaram, producing pumps under the Deccan brand. This was adopted by the creation of EKKI which acquired Deccan Pumps Pvt Ltd in 2013.
