ไดอะแฟรม of the six API 610 VS4 pumps are pour point depressant pumps which are 18m in size and the opposite four are methanol raise pumps that are 10m lengthy.
All of the pumps have PT100 temperature sensors that have been designed and constructed along the length of the pumps to watch the temperature of every bearing individually.
The 18m long pumps incorporate a supporting system of brackets that Amarinth has designed which attaches every pump to its tank during installation ensuring that because the pump is lowered into the tank it stays completely aligned, reducing vibration and put on during operation.
Once assembled, the pumps have been independently witness examined and licensed by DNV at Amarinth’s facility in Rendlesham, UK. The pumps have been then disassembled into 3m segments and shipped to Singapore the place the FPSO (floating production storage and offloading unit) is being built.
The pump delivery and set up needed to align with the FPSO construct schedule. Because of the size of the pumps, they had to be installed into the vessel’s tanks via the deck earlier than another deck above the pumps might be constructed. The first part was completed successfully over the Christmas interval with Amarinth’s Engineering Commissioning staff supporting the shopper with the set up and commissioning.
The FPSO shall be positioned in the KG-DWN 98/2 subject, roughly 22 km off the east coast of Kakinada, India. The vessel is designed to supply up to ninety 000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and have a 1.3-million-barrel storage facility. It will be outfitted to handle the monsoon conditions prevalent at the field.
